One Million Tons of Ternary Precursor Shipped! Brunp Recycling’s “Black Technology” Achieves High Safety, Long Life Cycle, and High Capacity in Materials

Reaching the one-million-ton milestone marks a new benchmark in industrial transformation. Ternary precursors are key raw materials for new energy battery production, having a decisive impact on the performance of batteries and end products such as electric vehicles. With cumulative shipments reaching 1 million tons, Brunp Recycling becomes the first company globally to achieve this milestone, ranking No. 1 in global market share. These materials can support battery production for approximately 14 million NEVs (New Energy Vehicles), meaning that about 20% of the world’s NEV battery materials come from Brunp Recycling—further solidifying China’s global leadership in the new energy sector.

Innovation-driven leadership for next-generation materials. As the world’s first company to produce ternary materials from used batteries, Brunp Recycling has pioneered Directed Recycling Technology (DRT) to convert waste into high-value recycled materials, achieving world-leading quality and performance. Over the years, Brunp has continuously innovated around the ternary material system with proprietary technologies such as “oriented crystal growth” and “synergistic extraction”, allowing precise control of crystal structure and efficient, short-process production. This has driven its products toward enhanced safety, longer cycle life, and higher capacity. As ternary materials mature, Brunp is also exploring integration with solid-state battery technology, opening up new value possibilities for the industry.
