A Successful Global Journey: 2025 Battery Recycling Study Tour in China
From June 16 to 20, 2025, the Battery Recycling Study Tour in China came to a successful close after five intensive days of factory visits, thought-provoking discussions, and invaluable exchanges. This program gathered industry leaders, experts, and decision-makers from 12 countries, representing some of the world’s most renowned companies, including Glencore, Aurubis, Orano, Hatch, GS Global, etc..
Over the course of the tour, participants visited nine leading recycling plants operated by eight companies across Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. These visits provided rare, first-hand insights into the entire battery recycling value chain — from collection and repurposing, to mechanical pre-treatment, material separation, and advanced recovery of high-value metals such as nickel, cobalt, and lithium.
Plants we visited includes:-Brunp Recycling，5C Recycle，Jiangye New Energy, Ruida New Energy，Jirui New Energy，Tengyuan Cobalt，Ruibo Metal Recycling，Tianqi Circular，Longkai Technology.
The experience went far beyond technical observation. On-site discussions were dynamic and solution-oriented, touching on critical themes such as battery recycling pre-treatment, innovations in hydrometallurgical recovery, recycling equipments, safety, and international cooperation. Participants witnessed cutting-edge technologies in action, exchanged practical expertise, and explored strategic opportunities for cooperation in the global market.
Equally important, the journey fostered genuine connections among participants. Whether on the road, during factory tours, or over shared meals, the tour became a platform not only for knowledge exchange but also for building long-lasting partnerships and friendships across continents.
