Battery Recycling Spring Insight Tour 2026 Concludes: In-Depth Exploration of China’s Recycling Value Chain

On April 24, 2026, the Battery Recycling Spring Insight Tour – China 2026 successfully concluded after a three-day program. The tour brought together over 20 international participants from across the global battery recycling value chain, including executives, technical experts, and stakeholders from recycling, materials, research institute and investment sectors.

The tour covered Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, with visits to five representative companies across the battery recycling ecosystem, including Jiangsu Yuechang, Changzhou Houde & Botree Recycling, Jiangsu Jiecheng, Zhejiang Tianneng, and Quzhou Huayou Resource Recycling. The program provided comprehensive insights into key stages of the recycling process, from battery dismantling and second-life utilization to pre-processing and the recovery of critical metals such as lithium, nickel, and cobalt, and direct recycling.

During the visits, participants engaged in in-depth discussions with company executives and technical teams, exploring key industry topics such as industrial scaling, process optimization, environmental compliance, and global supply chain collaboration. The host companies also showcased their latest innovations in automated dismantling, material recovery, and advanced recycling technologies.
Beyond the technical agenda, the tour evolved into a valuable platform for connection and exchange. Through continuous interaction—both on-site and throughout the journey—participants from different regions shared perspectives, built trust, and developed a deeper understanding of each other’s markets and challenges.
